Hey, so I want to mount my front plate off to the side to further expose the beauty of an M-technic front end. Has anyone done this or could someone offer me a bit of advice. I plan on drilling into the black plastic molding, will this work?

you might have to pop something into the trim piece to hold the screws for the plate. __________________

that DIY one looks terrible  I'd recommend one of the pre-built ones, I know they have them for the E36 too but I can't remember the site unfortunately  EDIT: lol, read page 4 of the DIY thread, the guy slashed his leg open walking into it  also, I managed to find the place with the E36 version in that thread: http://www.gominigo.com/NHLPB-BMW.html

one of the vendors has this lic plate holder on bf.com. check it out on there. __________________
