I don't think you got an error: 403.
They're not the only one seeing this ghost.

Evidently I enabled a Flash uploader which I need to do more to get it to work.
I disabled it and now can upload as usual.

This is going to be tough if I can't reproduce it.
The image looked fine to me logged in and logged out
My guess it's a browser issue.
It's fine on FireFox, Mac and PC.

Explorer 6.0 PC OK.

First, I uploaded it in CMYK format, then got the red X. So then I changed it back to RGB and saved-as to a new file, and it seems to be fine now. Should I make it CMYK then save-as to a new file name and try that? Because right now its RGB, and I don't think that will work if the pic gets selected.

Does seem to be a browser issue... Works with Chrome, not with IE7.

I tried to make it CMYK and save-as to a new file, the red X came back. At this very moment, it is RGB, JPEG
