i can get a used m3 rad for $100 is there any pos or neg advantages ?
is it worth it?

Stick with the 4 cyl. If anything, get an all aluminum version of something but youd need a remote resevoir because it wont be built in.

+1, you can get a new one for 125...I wouldn't pay more than 25 for a used one.
