Default Cleaning the M42 MAF?

Any one have a heads up on this? I've seen how to clean the MAF for the M44 but have seen nothing on cleaning the bulky SOB that is on my 95. I've looked but done even know how to get to the sensor right off to spray it. Any thoughts or help would be very much appreciated!

It's a variable resistor under the plastic cover. I wouldn't advise it. It's a sealed system, opening it to clean it would probably cause more problems.

Yeah, but they only cost 20 bucks at a junkyard. I am thinking about buying one and trying this myself.

Score!!! Nice work Dave.... Actually I did pick one up used for a little more than 20$ I have an extra one just in case........

But I guess used parts will eventually put you in the same boat, given your savy enough to find them.

Dave please post your findings on the mod.
