Truth be told, Speed has gone down since it changed hands/names. I don't have television, but just so you know, the last time this was done it didn't do a thing. I'd be signing to get back WSBK, IOM TT and MotoGP anyway. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 01-24-2006, 11:16 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Boston MA Posts: 221 | I've signed it too. None have made a good show yet. Racing is racing. Bring it... I currently support 5 roadrace rental cars, Midget, Sprint, Dwarf car. The dirt is way more fun than the road racing most of the time... SpeedTV doesn't have as much NASCAR as people thought they would. But wait until Toyota gets into the action. http://www.signonsandiego.com/sports...ta-nascar.html For me, my favorite is Australian Grand Touring and Jetboat autocross. I like some of that dirt oval stuff. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 01-25-2006, 07:01 AM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | NASCAR has Watkin's Glen and Infineon in Cali which are road course, so it's not all left hand turns. Anyways traveling in a tight pack at 180mph with a few inches apart does take skill and running for 300-500 laps also strains the limits of a driver. | | | 01-25-2006, 02:28 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Quote: Originally Posted by Panzer_M NASCAR has Watkin's Glen and Infineon in Cali which are road course, so it's not all left hand turns. I remember tracking out against the wall on the oval at NHIS. I was not too comfortable with that. Mid-Ohio and Watkins Glen also have turns you track out close to walls. I will admit, it takes a lot of car control to place the car exactly where you want it without going into the wall. When I heard Boris Said doing NASCAR, it legitimized it as racing for me. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
