I Am Looking To Put Either 18" Or 19" (if They Fit) Bellagio Spinners On My 1995 318ti, Will They Fit, Or Do I Need To Look For A Different Rim?? Will Any 19" Rims Fit, If So What Are My Options? I Would Like To Get Spinners, Does Anyone Know Of Any That Will Fit? Thanks! | | | 04-16-2005, 04:35 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Manhattan Kansas Posts: 242 | I'm sorry but, please don't put spinners on your TI. It's your car, but I think its not appropriate on a BMW. In fact mentioning it on here is probably taboo. Look on tirerack.com for more info on wheel tire combinations. | | | 04-16-2005, 05:24 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Mt. As for the spinners, your car will lose all semblance of speed and quickness due to the tremendous weight of spinner wheels. That's a big reason that you only see them on Sport Futility Vehicles, trucks, and cars with big torquey motors. | | | 04-18-2005, 08:02 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | I do not know what this guy wants, check his other threads. Near as I can tell he is looking to put $4000 rims on a car he will sell to himself when he becomes a pimpin gangsta. Spinners are just tacky imho. __________________ 1996 318Ti, M Sport Edition, 19" ACE Alloy Monaco Rims, Adjustable Eibach Sportline Ground Control Coilover suspension, Shaved Door Kit, Xenon 8000k Ellipsoid HID upgrade, Pioneer Premier System, Charcoal Custom Metallic Gray Paintjob! Spinners you say ehhhh. I mean, I thought I was a little out there because I dont want to go with aftermarket BMW wheels. But spinners? hmmmm, ummmmm.....Yeah, 19"s will fit. They fit fine, you just gotta use a low profile tire, probably a 40 or so. Before you go and spend that money on spinners, check out something clean, but "ballin". Maybe Lowenhart LSRs (I like them, but theyre $1400 per rim, without tires.), or Giovanna Genoas (what Im looking to get soon hopefully). Theyre nice, yet clean. If you gotta go that route, get an issue of DUB. Yes, I get DUB, so I myself must have some "street cred" lol. It has tons of pics, and you can find something different, but clean and classy. Please do not put spinners on anything. SUV, Truck, NOTHING. They are lame, and cheesy. __________________ Joe, In San Luis Obispo E30-> '96 TI sport -> E30 -> '96 TI | | | 06-03-2005, 01:56 AM | #10 | aka Stabby Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Mead, CO Posts: 5,336 | not sure they're actually spinners ... at least not like the "traditional" ones i see (pimpin' it up old skuul): http://www.mhtwheels.com/wheel.cfm?brand=3&cat=15 __________________ 1996 318ti, California package, 267k miles current mods: bilstein sports, bavauto springs, e30 m3 LCABs, solid metal ball joints, bavauto RSMs w/reinforcements, e30 3.73 LSD & halfshafts, supersprint cat-back exhaust, turner rear sway bar reinforcements, IE poly subframe & RTABs + camber/toe kits, powdercoated e36 32x front calipers, sport mirrors, H&R 28mmF/19mmR sway bars, x-brace, auto solutions SSK w/poly bushing upgrade, BMW CD43 head unit, DICE HD Radio w/iPod integration and "stealth" HD antenna, staggered style 68s, orange electronic TPMS, leather arm rest, JT Designs metal undertray acquired and awaiting install: heated seat kit, cali top switch relo, lumbar support kit, park distance control kit, heated washer nozzle kit, m-coupe rear subframe, trailing arms, differential, and halfshafts, m-coupe front/rear brakes with master cylinder, under hood light kit, mud flaps, rear sun blind, auto-dimming rear view mirror, tilt steering wheel retrofit, apexcone 5000K HIDs with 55W ballasts 2002 X5 4.4 Sport Package, 53.5k miles Current Mods: e46 m3 steering wheel | | | 06-03-2005, 02:47 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: Great White North! I went looking to save your TI, and how about some Gianelle V5Bs... Foose Speedsters..... Niche Rhine...Zenetti Mystik.... Or Savini ST-1. Just some quick wheels to look at. I will drive my car into a pole if I see a TI with 19" spinners on it. __________________ Joe, In San Luis Obispo E30-> '96 TI sport -> E30 -> '96 TI | | | 06-03-2005, 03:24 AM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: tailgating your slow ass Posts: 518 | what ever you do is put the money into a supercharger or something usefull not spinners.
