Default will an m coupe diff fit a ti?

sorry i know everyone hate's these threads, but it's only one question. i've found one cheap.

no, the M coupe diff is 188mm casing, the Ti Diff is only 168mm.

you can find 3.46/possible 3.45s in the 188mms, from e24/e28/e30s?

I picked up a e24 diff around Xmas, haven't done anything to it yet, haven't had the time.

thanks mate, is it poss' to swap the differential in to the small case? a garage quoted me for doing this swap a while back.

yea you can swap out the 168 for a 188 no problems, as long as you find a working gear ratio and a few other bits needed.
