Interesting set of tail lights. Not a big fan of that look on the Ti. The rounded nature doesn't fit too well with the Ti IMHO. It's interesting they don't show a wide shot (with the whole car) of the lights. I've been searching for a long time for a "clear" set but not found any good sources or any ones i like.

I've seen a similar set on a regular E36 before. It really didn't fit with the car IMO.

I've been wanting to get a pair of those for over a year now. The only thing that has been holding me back is the price... it's about 400 shipped from the UK or germany. I know that most people on the forum would probably hate these... but I am one of the few who do like them. Funny, it's kinda the same with our cars isn't it?

BTW my wife doesn't like them too...

I saw a set on the clubTI site (a Japanese ti site) and they looked...not good. Not a big fan. Then again, that's my opinion. If you like them, then it's your car, enjoy it! (=

Hey Gooten, want to meet sometime? I get bored on my off weeks.

Requirements: No malicious intent in harming me or my ti... but most importantly the latter. Or else....

the e46ti has altezza-ish rear lights as well. i can't say i'm a fan under any circumstance, even on the altezza.

I agree, I dont think they would look right on our cars, but it is obvious they are harking back to the design of the old 2002 rear lights, and for that they are quite a good representation. Depends I suppose if you want the frontal styling from the 80's and the rear from the 60's?

Anyone got any doors from the 70's I can fit?

Best regards David

Those are the ugliest things i've ever seen and wouldn't be caught dead with those on my car. To much honda look going on.

Honda? Well they must have copied BMW first!

It looked ok in the 60's.....but now.....on our cars? NO WAY!

Actually saw a set on a ti the other day.they look like ****! from the side view they actually stand proud from the body line.....like two great big cylinders stuck on your rear lights! Really naff......from the pix in magazines and on ebay you only see them from the rear view, I had assumed they were flush moulded like any other "lexus" style light.....but they are far worse! LOL

Best regards David

they look much much better in black than chrome

http://www.lexustaillights.co.uk/lex...es/BM60L62.jpg

check them out there.

Theres a place over mine who does them for £140 www.motorforce.co.uk but doesnt have them on their site. gotta phone up.

does them for £140 is $265. which is very reasonable because they are normally quite a bit more than that. not sure about shipping though.
