"No, not like that Mr. Mueller!! First give him the blinker, THEN flash your lights"

It's a joke about slow cars blocking the fast lane in Europe / Deutschland. It's strictly forbidden to pass on the right (actually it is here too, just everyone ignores that fact). Some of the more spirited / eccentric Autobahn drivers are quite aggressive when it comes to letting you know you're in their way. It's courteous to show a blinker towards your left first, then flash someone with your brights, then honk if neccessary. Some people jump right in and flash you and start honking from a ways back (i.e. if they're doing 240km/h and you're doing 120.) And sure enough, if you force them to have to even as much as touch their brake pedal, you're going to get an earfull of horn as their 911 Turbo passes within MILIMETERS of your bumper as soon as you leave the #1 lane.

So is it funny now? : )

So do you think that rusty Ford pickup I saw this morning with it's left blinker on wanted to pass the guy in front of him?

I understand the intent of well-traveled uber cool drivers who do the blinker thing but nobody here understands.

Cool cartoon though! I'd like it in German on a T shirt as is.

If we're going to photoshop it we might as well write out own gag.

How about:

"You drive this car and you're not a member 318ti.org? I should beat your ass!"

The car is from a driving school. This is someone learning to drive with the instructor doing the talking and teaching the driver the protocol for blinking and honking (an annoying habit that the authorities have been trying to stomp out)

Alta Vista's Babelfish translates this: "mein neuer abstands warner. Wennich mehr als 2 meter zurückfalle piept es"
... to: "My new distance more warner. Wennich more than 2 meters drops back beeps it"

So, the driver is showing off his new distance warning device which beeps when the distance is OVER 2 meters.
