Default Just saying hi

Hi everyone I'm new here. I have a 1996 green 3.18ti that I have been driving for about a year and a half.

I have decided to invest in a radar detector (probably a V1) after my last speeding ticket, especially now that the CHP has just been swarming all over California. It seems that because of the state budget being totally hosed, the police have realized that they need to write a butt load of tickets if they want to keep their budgets. I want to hard wire the power in for the radar detector. What is the best place to mount the radar detector in the 3.18 and are there any easy points to tap into for power?
