Thanks for the compliments, guys. Not prepping for anything in particular, but the tube is all 1.75"x .095" DOM so its good for SCCA, NASA and CCA. My brother runs GTS4 and ITE, so I'll probably follow suit.

Urban Green, right? At least that's BMW's name for the color. It was once available on Z-4's.

Greetings:

What suspension are you running? Also, what spring rates? Im in the process of turning my Ti into a Track car I can drive to/from the track. Just want to compare notes on what works for other track worthy Ti's. My current set up is Front 3 way JRZ struts and rear 2 way Moton Shocks. Front GC camber plates and rear solid shock mounts. I run about 250lb on the canisters and the valving is fairly aggressive on both. My spring rates are 800F and 970R. Im keeping stock bars so i went up on the springs. The car sits at 2530lb and will drop to about 2400. I set the alignment at 1/16 toe out L/R front for a total of 1/8". 2.5 neg camber front. Rear is set at 0 toe and 1.8 neg camber. Granted, I have not rested this set up yet so this is basically my baseline. Need to get new motor/trans mounts and recondition the shifter before I do.
PS: running Toyo 888 235/40 all around on 17x8 and 17x9 IFG's

I run GC coilovers with Koni SA shocks (super-baller, I know) and a GC Hella-fat sway bar, NO rear bar. Spring rates are 500# front, 350# rear. -3.5 front camber, -2 rear. 0 toe. Once upon a time I had solid engine and trans mounts but went back to stock e46m3 mounts. Going to either put the solids back in or give AKGs a try. I recommend the AKG shifter- I drove a car with one; its legit. You like the 888's? I heard lots of grumbles from locals running them. I never tried them- I stick to RA1s and NT-01 (virtually the same sire)

Ha! I had no idea that was a factory color- there are a couple of those Z4s locally. The stuff I have is 3M scotchprint and they call the color Military Green- go figure. In keeping with the military theme, I have a couple ideas I may work on once my new garage is done

That cage looks beautiful and so does the car! Any pointers or lessons learned on doing those fender flares? It's something I plan on embarking on in the winter.

Lessons learned: body work is no joke. Seriously. If you want it to look factory-fresh, take it to a body shop. Same with the paint. Constant filling, sanding, huge piles of bondo dust. Way more of a mess and way more work than I anticipated. Im pleased with the way mine turned out, but I had lots of time to chip away at it. Did I mention the bondo dust? In your hair, ears, clothes, every nook and cranny in your garage. Almost 2 years later and I'm still finding it in my garage.

Tools- I was able to borrow a buddys mig welder, other than that all I needed was a sawzall, angle grinder, die grinder, and a 12'' body sander. Oh, and a good respirator...3M charcoal canister ftw

how wide of a tire can you fit with those fairs? i am thinking about running a 285/30/18 and cant figure out if i want to run the e46 flairs or some rivet on ones.
