We live in Wakefield - West Yorkshire. Brenda is a 98 318ti on an R Reg with low milage (58000) so she's lovely! It's a standard plus SE pack - Sunroof, parking sensors etc in Arctic silver. I have a 98 brochure and price list that I picked up on eBay, I've scanned it and converted to pdf if anyone fancies a trip down memory lane (or just to see how much your baby was new) It's a big file, so if you're a dropbox user, let me know and i'll share a link with you. | | | 05-22-2011, 09:08 PM | #287 | Junior Member Join Date: May 2011 Location: west sussex uk Posts: 28 | im a brit as well got a 95 316i compact in boston green and am from sunny ole bognor regis | | | 05-22-2011, 09:31 PM | #288 | Junior Member Join Date: May 2011 Location: England Posts: 20 | Post some pics up daz and can we see Brenda Neil? :-) Last edited by gazmo; 05-22-2011 at 09:41 PM. | | | 05-22-2011, 09:52 PM | #289 | Junior Member Join Date: May 2011 Location: west sussex uk Posts: 28 | Quote: Originally Posted by gazmo Post some pics up daz and can we see Brenda Neil? :-) | heres a link to my intro has some photos in dazza intro pics | | | 05-22-2011, 10:50 PM | #290 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2011 Location: Wakefield Posts: 24 | Quote: Originally Posted by gazmo Post some pics up daz and can we see Brenda Neil? :-) | I'll post some tomorrow | | | 05-22-2011, 10:51 PM | #291 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2010 Location: Southwest England Posts: 379 | Quote: Originally Posted by neilgwhite Hi guys, I have a 318ti called Brenda. I'm putting some pics on over the next couple of days. | | | 05-24-2011, 12:41 AM | #293 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2011 Location: Wakefield Posts: 24 | Here is a link to some pics of my 318ti. I'm just in the process of getting the paintwork stone chip free and waxed up. Here's the result of 2 hours with Meguiar's 3 stage lovelies today thanks to Hallfords running a 3 for 2 on all polish etc. http://www.flickr.com/photos/neilgwh...7626666379813/ | | | 05-24-2011, 07:02 AM | #294 | Junior Member Join Date: May 2011 Location: England Posts: 20 | im onto that 3 for 2 also Shiny | | | 05-24-2011, 01:19 PM | #295 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2010 Location: Southwest England Posts: 379 | I might need to get in on that 3 for 2 action, I need some T-cut type stuff for some mild but unsightly scrapes I picked up the other day. Except I am so broke from all this messing around with exhausts that I can't even afford to fill her up until the weekend. Doh. | Asda do a coloured T-Cut and is sometimes on offer, cheaper than Halfords unless you can find enough cash down the sofa for 2 more items. | | | 05-24-2011, 05:08 PM | #299 | Junior Member Join Date: May 2011 Location: England Posts: 20 | I think I got some of that a while ago, was it the colourfast stuff with a wax chip stick? Worked a treat on mine | | | 05-24-2011, 05:15 PM | #300 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2011 Location: Wakefield Posts: 24 | Quote: Originally Posted by gazmo I think I got some of that a while ago, was it the colourfast stuff with a wax chip stick? Worked a treat on mine | No, a tube of abrasive cream with the colour in it. No good for deep scratches, your wax stick is probably a better bet. I'm in two minds whether to attack mine with 3 stick paint chip sets as it can make more of a mess than an honest scratch and I can't imagine how much a local body shop would charge. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
