exactly...Cf hatch is pretty pointless, if you want to save weight get some lexan windows or whatever theyre called....basically like hard plastic i guess

go with lightweight rims if you want to really reduce weight. each pound of unsprung weight reduced is roughly the same as reducing 6 lbs of sprung weight

Yeah, the more that I think about it I think that it wouldn't be as beneficial as I first thought. Also, lets say for arguments sake that you go along with the carbon hatch and lexan back window. That would be a significant weight savings, but wouldn't it be possible that your weight distribution would then be skewed more towards the front of the car? Just a thought, I am still learning the car.
On a side note, what is the weight and the weight distribution of the 318?
