Default Damn, it looks good in person.

I think BMW needs to get better photographers.
The E92 M3 looks better in person just as the 1.

I couldn't resist going into the parking lot of my local dealer.
There she sat, a brand new 135i.

I really like the interior, just wish they had cloth seats.
And it needs to be dropped about an inch.

I'm glad the dealer wasn't open for a test drive.
I do want want one.

$42,000 is a tough nut to crack.

My misery. I've been wanting this car for 2 years!
When in Maryland I even had my license plate ready, FIRST 1.

Now to take apart my ti again and try to get the upper strut mounts installed.

I haven't seen the 1 Series yet in person, but I completely agree with you. The M3 looked good in pictures, but I always thought the hood bulge looked "off." Saw an Alpine White one at the dealership when I had the PPI done on my Ti and it's gorgeous.

The price on them will drop if the dollar rebounds

I agree though, they look AMAZING in person.. much better than they do in the photographs.

Just thought, was it a coupe or convertible that you saw, or both? In the pics I've seen, I think the coupe looks better, if the convertible looks better in person, I might have to start lusting after it.

I saw the coupe. After having the Cali top, while fun, I'm not sure I want another one with the potential issues that comes with them.

It's the cost.

If you charged $.01 per off-topic post, you'd be rich before most folks could break the habit of going off-topic. LOL

Now that is a good idea! Let's start the 135i fund. Waiting to see larryn's 135i in MA when he picks his up.

I have to agree with you that it does look much better in person. Well at least the 135i the 128i (especially the the convertible) on the other hand makes me wanna gag.

Without further ado here are some pics i snapped of a 135i that arrived at our dealership last week. Sorry for the quality, its from my cell phone.

That could be yours for the low low price of only $44,759.00
