I didn't see it until I got home I sent my car to the panel beater for plastic welding and paint yesterday. When the car cames back today, I start to exam the work, I never had a chance to take such a close look at the rear bumper until now, then I figured the gap between rear bumper and trunk lid is quite wide. I am not sure if it's the panel guy didn't fit it back properly or they came with such a wide gap? It's would be a shame if BMW made it like that, but if it's the other case I'll have to send my car back to the panel shop again. __________________ 13MW/// | | | 10-09-2008, 02:06 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: PA Posts: 822 | Do you have any pictures? __________________ Clever but we are clueless... Remove the bumper strips, loosen the bolts and tighten them back up when you've moved everything to its right place. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 10-10-2008, 12:51 AM | #5 | Member Join Date: Jun 2008 Location: New Zealand Posts: 49 | Quote: Originally Posted by aceyx The gap between the body panel and the rear bumper can be fixed by adjustment.
