Help with 17" tires 215/40/R17 ????

I just bought a set of 17" double spoke M3 wheels and now I need tires.
I can get a slightly used (less than 4,000 miles) set of 215/40/R17 kuhmo tires from a buddy of mine for $175.

Will these work and will the speedo still be accurate, or should I go with something different?

Thanks Steven, it looks like I will still be pretty accurate on the speed. are these tires too Narrow for M3 Rims?

I don't know. I have 235/40/17s on my 95 Motorsport wheels.
Kuhmo or maybe even Tire Rack has suggested wheel sizes.
