While you supervisor does have a certain amount of authority, there comes a point where you need to stand up for yourself, but do it in a tactful/respectful manner. Had you approached this guy and said, "I'm going to move my car, I'll be right back" vs. "Can I go move my car, it'll just take a second", things might have turned out differently. The important thing to remember is that you were a man before you were an employee and if this guy doesn't want to respect you as such, you need to set him straight, even if it means losing your job.
Man you're the only person that understands!! Which makes me happy. And you're totally right.

I'm thinking about purchasing this:

I was about to say that too. All the e-posturing in this thread is irrelevant and really does nothing to solve the problem presented by the OP.

But, heck, if it was ME, I would have called up Mother Nature and said, "bi-atch, if one hailstone touches my car, I'm gonna PIIYB, and I promise you I won't be gentle!"

Seriously though... the question is not "what should have been done?" but is "what can be done to solve the problem of having a trashed car, no insurance coverage and no money?"

Sorry about your ti Maverick, that really sucks. Having just had my rear left customized by crunch I feel your pain. It would be great if you could slap your boss with the repair bill, I bet he would understand a lot better once his anal-ease budget was ruined...

Nah, there's too many cameras at the mall, you'll need some distance. My weapon of choice, an M-110 semi auto sniper rifle:

or you could just stuff some poop under his driver's side door handle

I love to take a paintball gun and a bag of marbles, and just shoot it at him until he agrees to buy my car off of me for $5k.

But it's so sad now. I now park the furthest away from the school, instead of the open spots at the very front. I'm to ashamed of my car, and myself for not being able to take care if her.

maybe it's just the violent sadist in me talking, or maybe it's the fact that I'm listening to Marilyn Manson right now, but I much prefer something along these lines

Wow! I really feel for you. I have a lot of random parts that I do not use. Tell me exactly what you need, and I'll see if I have it. ( I live near Waco)

You have a nice and running ti in your parts bin?

If I do restore the ti, I'm not going with OE's. I'm going all CF. Then I'm gonna paint it flat black, or dark gun metal.

Sorry to hear and see about the damage to your ti. It will take time and money to fix it up. I think parting it out might be a better way to go in your situation since you have another bimmer in mind.

Ok, I need something to help me make my decision. Lets say I sold these parts:
Hartge replica wing WITH the hatch
OMS Headlights w/ bi-colored AE
CF Pillar covers
1 Silver and Black CF roundel (not a set)
RD Suspension kit
Stamford SSW Imagine wheels with tires

Who would be interest? What would you offer me?
I'm not saying that I'm selling it just yet. But if I did, answer the questions above.

It doesn't need park distance control, and hates decadence. It is musclepacked, yet lightly wound. It lets you feel the asphalt and get you going with the smallest touch of the pedal. It provokes, seduces, and demands to be driven hard. It looks, sounds, and smells like performance.
