I have a set on my 1998 318TI. I bought them originally for my 1994 318IS but decided to try them on my TI. The fronts are an exact fit(with the exeption of the wire/hose hold down studs). For the rear I went to Gabriel and looked at the Ti and IS rear shock specs for both cars. The IS shocks cover more distance than the ones speced out for the TI. So I installed the Raceland set for the E36 on my TI. Works fine. I had to trim the rubber spring perch pad but otherwise, the set works perfectly on a TI. I imagine the springs are rated higher than the weight of the TI rear, but I have not noticed any issues. Way better than stock. So spend $1500 if you wish. I paid that for my car. And it is actually a very nice car.

man oh man....lol. I can tell you that the rear setup does work, the dampeners do fit, the springs and adjusters fit and the front goes on with no problem. I just put a set on my ti a few weeks ago...and for 290 shipped its ALOT better then riding on a stock setup. but I run H&R on my s4 and it doesnt compare to that...i bought them for the adjustability and the whole setup was cheaper than my oem blown strut.

Good luck with whatever setup you choose.

Thumbs down NO

Since I see this post a lot when searching forums for 318ti coilovers, I thought I'd resurrect it. This is a direct quote from Raceland's website, bold for emphasis.

***Please Note: When lowering your car, it is very important to run correct wheel fitment. Depending on your wheel offset, tire size etc, you may need to use wheel spacers and/or roll the fenders of the vehicle. Does not fit the Ti, Xi,or M3 models. Early E36 owners (prior to July 1992) will need to purchase the later E36 front strut mounts. Part# 31 33 1 092 885.
