Me and my brother were sliding the sheets on the trailer 2 at a time and got to the last one and the last sheet was as far as it could go onto the trailer but still about half an inch on the forklift. so my brother starts kicking the bottom of the wood to get the bottom to slide off the forks. Anyways im standing in between the wood and the forklift and im like just pull the forklift back and this will slide off but he was like no help me kick the wood back and he kicked it really hard and boom they all start falling over and i go to try and push them back but me (120 pounds) vs 30 sheets of plywood that weight about 50 pounds each just didnt work. it pretty much catapulted me into the forklift and followed right behind smashing me into the forklift til the forklift started rolling back and finally gave me enough space to fall underneath the forks. I layed there for about 30 minutes trying to take deep breaths but it wasnt happening. i was panting for air and finally started catching my breath. after about an hour i got to the point where i drank some water and could completely breath again. got carried to my office where i sat and ate some food. my fiance picked me up shortly after and i went home and tried to sleep all night being pretty unsuccessful i figured the doctor was a good idea. today i went into urgent care and they gave me an x ray of my lower back and said it may be fractured but it was hard to tell so tomorrow i go in for a cat scan. in one swift fall i bruised the **** out of my knee, scraped my stomach, back and side and possible fractured my back. by doctors order im not allowed to bend over til saturday, not allowed to lift over 20 pounds and am not allowed to work. so workers comp and lots of boring sitting at home time here i come! i'll know more tomorrow after my cat scan. and the doctor gave me some vicodin which doesnt do anything to me. sweet thanks! i dont get how i'm suppoed to live my life without bending over lol my christmas break just got a little bit longer. anyways thanks for reading. -Josh __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 12-20-2007, 02:05 AM | #2 | aka Stabby Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Mead, CO Posts: 5,336 | damn d00d! hopefully it's nothing serious and you'll heal up quickly. not a very merry christmas present __________________ 1996 318ti, California package, 267k miles current mods: bilstein sports, bavauto springs, e30 m3 LCABs, solid metal ball joints, bavauto RSMs w/reinforcements, e30 3.73 LSD & halfshafts, supersprint cat-back exhaust, turner rear sway bar reinforcements, IE poly subframe & RTABs + camber/toe kits, powdercoated e36 32x front calipers, sport mirrors, H&R 28mmF/19mmR sway bars, x-brace, auto solutions SSK w/poly bushing upgrade, BMW CD43 head unit, DICE HD Radio w/iPod integration and "stealth" HD antenna, staggered style 68s, orange electronic TPMS, leather arm rest, JT Designs metal undertray acquired and awaiting install: heated seat kit, cali top switch relo, lumbar support kit, park distance control kit, heated washer nozzle kit, m-coupe rear subframe, trailing arms, differential, and halfshafts, m-coupe front/rear brakes with master cylinder, under hood light kit, mud flaps, rear sun blind, auto-dimming rear view mirror, tilt steering wheel retrofit, apexcone 5000K HIDs with 55W ballasts 2002 X5 4.4 Sport Package, 53.5k miles Current Mods: e46 m3 steering wheel | | | 12-20-2007, 02:16 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | yeah im trying to look at the positives. more time with the girl. less time working. might do little low labor things to my e30 while im healing up. time to figure out what exactly i want to do to my car and possibly time to look for a better paying career. __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 12-20-2007, 02:21 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Orange County, NY Posts: 1,067 | Oh sh!t, that's crazy!
