Default Help: '97 ti manual active package

I failed the California Emissions test because my CEL is on. I can fix the CEL with a re-code of the DME with a manual transmission code. To do this I need the help of a someone with a '97 ti manual transmission and the active package. I need the 7 digit part # of the DME and the VIN # of the car it came from. The themshop.com can then re-code my DME with the correct codes and program. If anyone can help me please PM me.
Thank you
Noah

Does anyone know where I can find the part number for a '97 DME for a manual transmission?

Check out www.car-part.com. If you search for a 318ti engine computer a bunch of listing have some part number listed. I don't know if it's the number you need or not though. You'd probably have to do more research as to whether they came out of a manual tranny car or not too.

eBay also has some for sale and the pics show the labels with all the numbers.

Hey Noah, does it have to be an Active? Mines a '97, maybe I could help you out. Heck, if you want to just pass emissions you could borrow my DME for a day or two.
