Default Mix of videos

Hello, I stitched this video up using a few different clips filmed using keyring cameras, a normal handheld photo camera and a gopro. Clips are all from different laps, on different days, with different grip levels, just did it to pass the time a bit. All of them this yearīs August on the Nurburgring.

Hope you enjoy, the car is a 318ti, with stock engine remapped and KW Clubsport suspension kit. Itīs now broken after a direct impact with the concrete wall on that same track, caused by an oil spill from the car in front.

Thanks! Since you canīt go fast in the wet, might as well get your thrills by trying to slide a bit.

The only other video currently online, of my car, is this

A friend followed me in his Integra Type-R. I had just switched the worn tires to the rear, so handling was lots of fun, if not very fast at all.

Not going to be possible at all, maybe by Fall if Iīm lucky. Just arranged today to have my car picked up from Germany and brought home to Portugal. Then Iīm going to have to re-build it, build a stronger and lighter shell, and thatīll take a while. Hopefully, though, itīll be lighter and stronger and faster than before, with the same horsepower. Iīll be happy if I can take the car back to the Nurburgring at all during 2012.

I live 2100kms, thatīs 1600 miles, away from that track, itīs not like itīs on my doorstep

Update, I ended up fixing the bent shell instead of building a new one and transplanting everything. As we got to it, it felt like a waste of money to be throwing that one away, so it got straightened, and stuff was repaired. The only upgrade done was replacing the rear trailing arm bushes with metal rosejoints, coupled with modifying the rear subframe for geometry adjustments. I previously had some polyurethane excentric bushes that I didnīt like, they required quite frequent lubrication to prevent binding, and were a bitch to set up.

Changed a couple of preventive things, like the brake discs, which were looking a little sorry for themselves after the crash:

I donīt think Iīve got any nice videos of 2012, but there are a couple of pictures:
