I have been doing little things here and there. Started on extending the wiring harness for the front (headlights, radiator sensors, etc.) I also started installing all of the new rubber trim/mouldings that I ordered. I ended up finding a diff cover without any broken fins and installed that yesterday. I painted it and installed new drain plugs while I was at it. I also got an Ireland Engineering rear diff mount instead of using the Silver Project one in my old cover. I need to get new washers, a speed sensor bracket, and a diff mount bolt because they ended up getting corroded when I prepped my diff with the KBS BLAST for the KBS Rust Seal. You can also see the passenger trailing arm paint was damaged when I installed the subframe. I sanded that down and primed it yesterday. I will be painting it again today. I properly connected the door brakes and installed new boots/covers now too. I also have some goodies that I have been waiting on coming so progress should pick back up=) __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | 12-10-2015, 02:52 PM | #829 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: West Bend, Wisconsin Posts: 1,055 | No pictures but I putzed around a little yesterday. Removed the drivers window for the last time. I cleaned all of the grime off that would normal sit below the window seal inside of the door. I then recleaned the inside of the door and reinstalled the window. After that I scrubbed the upper window seal with soapy water to remove little bits of plastidip that were still stuck to it. I then installed the lower window seal. I only did the drivers side for now as I am still tracking down a passenger window. Once that was all together I used a battery to directly power the sunroof motor to get it open. I started cleaning up the tracks and surface for the new sunroof seal. I may remove the cassette to make it easier to recover the fabric shuttle and to thoroughly clean all of the sliders and rails. It depends on how clean I can get it tonight. Other than that I have just been ordering little odds and ends that I still needed for the air setup. __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | 01-13-2016, 08:05 PM | #830 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: West Bend, Wisconsin Posts: 1,055 | Picture of the new lower window seal and window in for good I've been working on installing new quarter glass and some other tid bits but need to upload the pictures. __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | 02-10-2016, 10:40 AM | #831 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: West Bend, Wisconsin Posts: 1,055 | Been working on things here and there. Brand new quarter glass is in: I then cleaned and reinstalled the B and C pillar trims, as well as a clean set of rear speaker trays (no pictures). I replaced all of the latch strikers as well since they looked a little dingy. Hopefully I will have that all sorted for Euro District and then progress can start back up on this=) __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | 04-20-2016, 02:46 PM | #835 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: West Bend, Wisconsin Posts: 1,055 | Finally was able to work on this a little yesterday instead of my daily. I only got the sun roof seal in but it counts as work=P It made me notice that my sunroof needs to be adjusted quite a bit to sit flush with the roof. I tried installing the seal as tight to the roof as possible so I hope raising the sunroof will make it all sit nice and flush. Speaking of my daily, I got sick of riding with everyone to shows for the past few years so I decided to spruce up it a little. I started with a Boa Boa Alcantara interior that I had imported through Kitty. I then added a Renown 130R steering wheel and Rogue Engineering DMS exhaust. Three weeks ago I installed Condor Speed Shop rear subframe and diff bushings. I had already done the Condor FCAB bushings right after I bought the car so now all of the bushings are delrin and it feels nice and tight. I had picked up a set of Centerline Fluted Hawks for dirt cheap last fall to throw on as well. I initially bought them as more of a joke but they have grown on me. I was sick of how cookie cutter the e36 scene is anymore so I just had to do something different. Plus you can't say no to cheap 9's and 11's=P I finally fit them to the car last week. I also made the trip down to Jeffersonville, Indiana this past weekend for Euro District and it was amazing. Hands down one of the best organised shows I have ever been to. I look forward to next year. Enough rabbling, here are some pictures from the show and the ride there. __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | 04-20-2016, 02:53 PM | #836 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: West Bend, Wisconsin Posts: 1,055 | I forgot to post an interior shot as well. I really need to get a legitimate shot. __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | 04-21-2016, 06:24 PM | #837 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2009 Location: Orange County, CA Posts: 2,019 | So when are you selling the Ti?
