You need to find an aftermarket one that was made for the base model bumper. | | | 03-08-2007, 03:57 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Florida Posts: 1,595 | Quote: Originally Posted by cooljess76 A factory lip wont fit on a non-M bumper. There have been a few people thought who made the M3 lip fit on the stock bumper with a few modifications, but I don't think it would look right. The only lips I can think of for you are the Rieger lip or Racing Dynamics if they still make it. | | | 03-08-2007, 04:55 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Boston, MA Posts: 1,152 | Get the aftermarket Mtec bumper and it will include the lip too. You can find it on bfc group buy or ebay. If just a lip then search on ebay or internet for some pics. I saw some cheaper alternatives around. I expected to find a stock one that someone here had either from parting out their car or had replaced with a nicer one. I appreciate everyone's help, and I have been checking out all the links people have left, in search of something that is not too expensive. __________________ former owner of a 1995 318ti, 1996 318i, 2001 330ci. | | | 03-12-2007, 04:56 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Ft Lauderdale, Fl moving to Eastern PA in May of 2007 Posts: 326 | Quote: Originally Posted by cdonahue thanks guys, i'll throw a pic up of what exactly i need replaced just as soon as i find a camera. | Hello - Look at my pics. I got the M3 style bumper(4door) off of ebay for $300 delivered. I added the splitters later but it looks good without them. The fit was perfect. __________________ 318ti, sport, hellrot, 05/95 Munich, Germany | | | 03-12-2007, 05:13 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Ft Lauderdale, Fl moving to Eastern PA in May of 2007 Posts: 326 | If you end up going with the M3 style bumper, the brake ducts will not fit from the stock bumper but you can go with out them or buy both for about $40. __________________ 318ti, sport, hellrot, 05/95 Munich, Germany | | | 03-12-2007, 05:40 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2004 Location: Northern Michigan Posts: 867 | Quote: Originally Posted by cooljess76 You're an idiot.
