Default Would these work with lowring springs?

Hey guys, sorry about the newbie question, but can someone tell me whether the struts in the below link will work with h&r or equivalent lowering springs? THis appears to be the stock "sport" struts, correct? If so, it should work right? My goal is not to make a track car, but rather to replace my worn shocks/struts while at the same time achieving a modest drop. Any advice would be great.

The link didnt work for me but from what i have read in the past, the stock sport shocks aren't short enough to handle h&r sport springs. They can surely be used for a while but they are designed for the sport springs which offer about a 0.5 inch drop as opposed to to the h&r's >1 inch drop.

Awesome. That is exactly what I wanted to know. Doesn't seem the stock sport springs are that common. Tischer BMW doesn't even list them. Thanks again!

Dave, wouldn't struts from the Z3M work as well?

While, technically, they will work together, I would advise against it. You'll end up blowing out the stock struts/shocks by using them with aftermarket springs.

They won't be bad right away, but the lowering springs will cause the longer stock shocks to bottom out all the time and you'll end up buying another set of struts/shocks when that happens. I'd say do it right the first time.
