ok so i was talkin to this guy who is a mechanic, he was drunk at the time, but he swears up and down that the 318ti is turbo injected and has a turbo, is this true or was he just like drunk rambling?

not unless uv added one after market dude! The ti stands for touring international (or touring injection depending on ya location an views!!..several "discussions" on that else where!!)....Its obviously injected but no turbo.....

No turbo. Do you think your car would be so damn gutless if it had a turbo? Wow...

Don't listen to drunk idiots. BMW just started making turbo motors, but before that they hadn't made a turbo for a LONG LONG time. Clearly the drunk was also a moron.

haha yeah, i was confused by the fact if it had a turbo why it only had 138hp, but it was amusing watchin him try to prove it had one

You should have taken the drunk out to your car, popped the hood and asked him to point out the turbo components. Or better yet... never "discuss" anything with a drunk. :-)

we did go out to my car and he tryed to find it....he was like its somewhere in there, im just way to drunk to fidn it right now

muffler bearings, top off the blinker fluid, you know, the usual wear items

While you've got the hood open and replacing the turbo kit, I'd suggest adding mineral oil to the fuse box. It dissipates the heat and helps the fuses handle a little more current, which means they'll last longer. Actually, you could replace your blinker fluid with mineral oil for the same reasons.
