Posts: 3,156 | They should fit fine. (remember, I have he roadster rear sub frame, and it all bolts right in, and the front suspension is all the same for the most part) The thing to watch is what engine the suspension is rated for. The 2.8 in the Z3 was about the same weight as the 1.9 (Steve: correct me if I have this wrong), but the 2.5 motor is heavier as is the 3.2 in the M roadster. | | | 01-25-2006, 04:25 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Madison, WI Posts: 121 | Hey Jim, is the subframe swap required for using the actual suspension components from the Z3/Mroadster, or does everything from both cars just fit together? | | | 01-25-2006, 01:39 PM | #6 | Moderator Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Bouncing off the rev limiter in CT! Posts: 3,156 | I don't know for sure, because I just bolted the entire assembly in to avoid those kind of questions / wasted money. | | | 01-31-2006, 06:01 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Toronto Posts: 148 | I am running H&R ///M coupe coil-overs in one of my tis. Yes they fit fine, providing you are happy with the spring/rebound rates. You can also ask them to recommend a # for the rear and front springs. __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 10-01-2009, 04:04 AM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | Quote: Originally Posted by DLag are they stiffer for the rear? | I think they're softer, I remember another member installed a ti coilover kit on his Z3 and the rear sit a little higher than usual | | | 03-14-2009, 01:13 AM | #15 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | thank you Paul for saying something useful | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
