Default Which armrest will fit the 318ti?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

Will either of these?
Yes, I did do a search of this forum but I can't find detailed info on what exactly the OEM armrest for the 318ti is like. I want one bad... can someone send me a link to the OEM one, or a picture of how it connects?

Thanks...

I showed pics of how I installed mine awhile back. I'll try to find the pics. If I remember, the arm rest, as in the parts you seeing for sale on Ebay are the same. The difference is in the bottom tray that sits under the arm rest.

So I have to change out the whole console from the gearshift back... and lose my cupholders... ?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/bmw-e...36742288QQrdZ1

Seems like this would be the part I need ..?

This one looks great, but they say it won't fit a 318ti...

Actually, you do not have to lose you cup holders. You can reuse the ti cup holder by remounting it and doing a little cutting and shaping of the front of the holder to clear the gear shift console. There will be some gaps on the sides near the front where the new console dips down, but not too hard to fabricate covering plated with some plastic or CF.

None of those will fit the ti.

I bought one thinking it would, but the base part is ti specific.

L8, do you agree?

What about this one that a local MA member has in his M3 engine swap ti?

http://new.photos.yahoo.com/stealth_bimmer/albums/

under pics 33, 34, 35

I thought BAV auto sells like a drop in armrest for the 318ti console. The one in the pic looks like it. Check pics under Tyler also. He got an armrest installed.

http://leatherz.com/Merchant2/mercha..._Code=Interior (nice armrest)

I'm going to try this one out; I says it is two inches above the normal console area, so that should be just right for my arm. The complaint about that one is that it is too low, but I am over 6'... Looks just like the OEM too, but is cheaper and eaiser to install.

THANKS!

I have a Leatherz Mark IV armrest that i bought used from a member on bf.c and i love it. You still can use the cupholders and imo it's the perfect fit. There are pics of it in my gallery. The main cup holder is accesable and if u need the 2nd one justy tilt the armrest open.
