He does extremely good work. I imagine that pretty soon there will be some turbo M42s poping up in club racing. | | | 02-19-2007, 06:54 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Portland Or Posts: 2,666 | The only SCCA class a turbo 318 would fit in would be SP, where it would get its tail kicked, and maybe ITE, Turbos are still the unwelcome stepchildren in club racing, Does NASA allow them? What are the rules? I think any add-on forced induction puts you in SM. __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 03-17-2007, 11:08 AM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Europe Posts: 136 | I'm having a temptation to buy this and try it starting turbo route: I've contacted them for more infos about motor mount problems, thickness of manifold and what turbo flange it has. First thing that I say for sure now is that it has a T3 flange... so I need a great turbo with t3 flange for 200-220hp with 6-8psi max. If I'll start building it, it will be intercooled and maybe it will has oem filter airbox with a panel sport filter for oem look. The only problem will be to find a T3 turbo that have a low spooltime and that makes boost soon for every day mid-revs driveability . The specs I'm searching are: 200-220 hp; 6-8psi not more with intercooled; internal wastegate Who can help me to find the correct turbo for my application? I'm not good reading turbo maps... | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
