I am gathering up the materials to make an arm rest for my center console. Found a nice thread on this site on the subject. Drafted the template for the base of the arm rest and found some nice vinyl on sale at a local fabric store, in a color very close to sandgrau. That's what I tried first and ended up breaking a grade 8.8 bolt off in the half clamped nutsert. I had to cut off the nut/bolt/washers and then punch the nutsert into the subframe. Then I put a new nutsert in using the McMaster tool (# 96349A815) the tool worked like a charm, so much easier than the dumb bolt/nut combo. __________________ ~Dave~
