Question Center console with cupholders?

We have a '95 Active with a center console with two open trays. To keep family harmony I've been asked to find a cupholder solution. In a couple posts about arm rests I've seen some people have a center console with cup holders and a change holder built in. Does anyone have the part number for this type of console?

I've tried looking at the online ETK but I only see the plain console. The dealer couldn't find anything either.

Thanks for any help,

Peter Fanning

Well my 98 has 2 cup holders, change holder and a spare compartment in the back. I bought a used Leatherz armrest for my car. These aren't the best shots of it but this is what i got. I'm not sure if this helps.

That's the type of part I'm looking for but neither I or the dealer can find a part number. Did the new console come complete with cup holders and arm rest from LeatherZ?

Here is the console/cupholder our ti's have. This piece fits directly on top of the console/tray section that is already in the car. Previous owner must have removed it http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...=51&fg=95&hl=2 Here is the cupholder ring that so many seem to be missing in their car http://bavauto.com/fland.asp?rid=16689

Thanks mickd. I saw that cupholder on the ETK but it looks just like the modular console in our M3. Any chance you verified the part number with the cupholder in your car? I appreciate the help since my wife will appreciate the cupholder.

Sorry about that. I'm lazy. Didn't read your post carefully enough. But the piece you see in my pics is what came with the car when I bought it new. Although the picture in the previous link to realoem.com is for a regular e36, the part number is probably correct and it will look like the pics I have.

After looking at the RealOEM pic again, somthing didn't look quite right. The cupholder console in my car since new has the coin holders at the front, 2 cuphoders, and a storage section to the rear. Was wondering if the one on RealOEM replaced that original one, but the console section beneath it doesn't look the same either. If anyone has the cupholder out of their car, check the number. If no one posts it, I'll pull mine out tomorrow, it comes off with 1 screw.

Found a complete ti center console on ebay, this is the type of cupholder you need http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-9...QQcmdZViewItem Just wanted to give you a reference, not implying you should buy it. You could wait for the cupholder on ebay, probably could pick it up for 10 bucks.

Mickd, thanks for the ebay reference. The console tray with cupholders and coin tray is exactly what I'm looking for. It just pops into the plain console. If you could grab a part number off your car it would be excellent.

Perfect, thanks. For future reference your part number matches the 'accessory' part number from the ETK, it just looks completely different.
