Default Where can I get Angel Eyes?

Hey Everyone! I have a UK spec (right hand drive) 1998 318ti sport compact and want some angel eyes? I want the full replacement headlamps and not the rings that you add to your existing headlights. I also want the headlights where the rings do not join up at the top and are like a horseshoe shape. Could anybody recommend where I could buy these headlights? By the way I am from the UK!

There are several websites that have the angel eyes (or demon eyes, depending on where you look.) Just from memory, theres:

http://www.bavauto.com

http://www.m3motorwerks.com (I'm going to get mine from there)

http://www.umnitza.com

http://www.bmpdesign.com

As you can see, there are quite a few people that supply these. This is not a complete list; i'm sure that there are more makers of angel eyes.

I ordered ZKW's with DDE from Umnitza on 1/21 and still haven't received them. Others on other forums rave about how fast they usually ship and great their service is so my situation may be a fluke, but we'll see.

I will let you know what I think and post some pics once I receive and install them...

I have not read good reviews on the Hella's. People seem to be buying them for the brand name but then not very happy with them...

Ive seen some of the hella angel eyes and found that they are not as bright as some of the other aftermarket headlights. They also have a yellow colour to the rings. I am after ones with a bright white colour for the rings because I think it will look good on my car as it is black.

Hella Headlights with AE combo can be purchased here: http://www.germanstuff4you.com/

They utilize LED-based technology with fiber-optic light rings for the angel eyes, thus, they are not going to be as bright as CCFL's; however, the Hella's overall build quality is quite good. Just make sure to purchase the black housing rather than the chrome!

You're honestly best off just adding DDE Lighting to your existing UK spec headlights. I've yet to see replacement headlights setup for RHD. The halo install really isn't bad, it just takes a couple hours. I've done tons of them for my customers.

I got my DEPO euro headlamps with DDE angel eyes form Umitza. Totally satisfied with my angel eyes, very bright with pure white color. Not quite satisfied with the beam patern though; I'm thinking of retrofiting the lights with OE E46 HID projectors. If any of you plans to add angel eyes to your car, I would highly recommend the flouresent tub type of rings. they are xtremly bright and white. The LED type will degrade through time and does not generate the bright white color as the flouresents. There are many of them on ebay, you can get one set for about $150, or you can buy them from Umnitza.com like I did.
