Default Price for Bilstein Sport struts/shocks

Turner Motorsport currently has a full set of Bilstein Sport struts/shocks on sale for $529 + shipping. Is this about what I should expect to pay? It seems like a reasonable price. If anyone knows of anywhere I can find them cheaper or for around the same price locally (Los Angeles area), please feel free to pass that info. along... thanks!

Bavarian Autosport currently has them for $581 for all four. If you're not in a hurry they typically do a suspension sale in the spring and it usually the best deal around. When I got mine a few years ago it was $450 shipped. Obviously I can't guarantee it'll be that low again if they even do it this year. I've also had luck in the past just Googling the part numbers as familytruckster suggested.

Dang man. When I bought that package it was up to $850 or somewhere about. These rear springs make all kinds of wierd noise taking hard turns or going up driveways. If I had to do it again, I would probably go with a Koni kit. Not satisfied with this kit.

Well, I did all of the 'googling' before asking the question- I know I can be lazy sometimes, but I'm not that lazy.

I was looking more for people who may know of online distributors that sell this stuff cheap and probably would have shown up on page 23 of my google search (if at all), and/or local members that may know of a place in So. Cal. where they can be had for about the same price as I would pay online. Looks like about $550 shipped is the best deal I'm going to find. Thanks for the feedback, everybody.

Did you replace the spring pads when you replaced the suspension? Have you looked up underneath the car to ensure that the springs are seated correctly? Did you replace the strut/shock bushings when you replaced the suspension? All of those things could potentially cause the problem that you are describing. The shocks themselves are likely not the problem- I'd look more towards worn suspension bushings or something out of place.

Yeah man. New spring pads, new RSMs, new bushings. Whole 9 yards. Yes they're seated correctly. There's a dead coil on the bottom of the spring that's rubbing a live coil. Somebody sugeested I tighten my rsm's one more time. I'll try it out.

Nah, the H&R rear sport springs suck, mine also had the dead coil rub and they rode horribly. Since they are progressive springs the ride will never feel controlled and for how low they drop the car the rate is too low.

I switched to a used pair of TC Kline 400lb rear springs and the rear feels much better, less body roll and the ride is more comfortable than the H&Rs. It's still a stiff ride but better than before.
