I get the magazine Bimmer and it's always interesting to read their "Market Update" b/c it gives the low-down on whats hot on the used car market with BMW's. The newest issue's (cover has 125iC on it) Market Update was mainly about how the E36 is being seen less and less as the remaining models are either rusted-out beaters or extremely clean enthusiast cars, and that the E46 is becoming the most popular, 'bang for the buck' car on the used BMW market. Anyways, they did their usual reviews of the 3 series (E36) that were once seen all over the place, including the 318ti. Bimmer's designated model-drawer's recreation of the 318ti was featured on the first page of the article. Kinda cool to see a little publicity for our little compact. Sadly, the biggest point they made about the ti was that it was the least expensive BMW. Can't win 'em all over. __________________ | | | 03-12-2008, 09:13 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | hahahahaha sweet. you should scan the article for us all. __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 03-12-2008, 09:52 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Damascus, Maryland Posts: 434 | Pages concerning the 318ti (First is just the picture ): __________________ | | | 03-12-2008, 09:53 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | sweetness thanks! __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 03-12-2008, 10:26 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Damascus, Maryland Posts: 434 | Are the images extremely small to you? I'm tryin to work out why they uploaded so small. The original image was scanned in at some 11000 x 10035 pixels...it was large. I scaled it down and now, no matter how the image size is, it uploads too small to read. Heres some from imageshack: __________________ | | | 03-12-2008, 10:56 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | And the e46 is a wagon (notice roof rack)!
