I bet that was a test mule for putting the twin turbo N54 in a 1 series, prior to the announcement of the E82 135i coupe (which was announced 6 months after that article was written/picture taken). It would be cool if they did the N54 powered E88 or E87, but I can pretty much guarantee that if they did, it wouldn't come to the States. __________________ 1997 332ti - Don't even ask. 2006 330i - ZPP/ZSP/ZCW/6sp/Nav/BT/H&R Sport 2011 E92 M3 | | | 01-26-2008, 05:48 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | another reason to move the **** out of the states! i wanna e36 ti 2002tii e46 ti and this! then my garage would be well close to complete! __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 02-24-2008, 09:56 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: Waco/Austin, TX Posts: 233 | Oh yeah, just check out the bmw international website. 3 door and 5 door models will be available.. but not to us __________________ 1997 318ti Schwarz II FB | | | 02-24-2008, 10:29 PM | #7 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: Chicago Posts: 15 | this ones is even better first thing on the auto show i checked out was BMW stand of course, and there it was , check out the link http://imageigloo.com/images/9409PICT0013.JPG its a beauty :-) __________________ this is not a winter car | | | 02-25-2008, 04:11 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | would love to have it! another reason the us sucks! time for europe! whos comin with me? __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 02-25-2008, 04:12 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | Quote: Originally Posted by thesk8nmidget time for europe! whos comin with me? | I'll go, just hide me in your luggage, I can't afford plane tickets | | | 02-25-2008, 04:14 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | hahaha __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
