Widebody for TI ok I wasnt sure which section to put this in but, I was looking into widebody kits for the TI's and there are none to be found. so a friend of mine said if I could find a design I wanted and a few people interested in buying a full kit he could make a mold, and we'd have a widebody for our cars!! the ones that interested me the most was the AC Schnitzer widebody kits for the E36 coupe. or the Esquiss widebody. I am basically seeing if there is any interest in something like this and get any input you guys have. or what you would like to see. if we all could come up with some kinda design we'd all be interested in, I will see what kinda price we are looking at to get this made. | | | 11-18-2004, 02:28 PM | #2 | Member Join Date: Oct 2003 Location: East Coast Posts: 89 | Esquiss makes a widebody for the ti that i really like as you suggested. Copy that one and i might be interested. I do like the look of the AC kit but I dont think it can be done on ti or sedan for that matter | | | 11-18-2004, 04:22 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Ohio Posts: 183 | Somebody on this site has a wide body on their car.... I have seen some of the stuff he has made already and it is very very nice quality. | | | 11-18-2004, 09:03 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Tyler, TX Posts: 1,022 | Quote: Originally Posted by tborr2 clubsport.. do you have any pics of the esquiss kit for the TI? or atleast some rear pics. the front shouldnt be a problem to copy but, I'll need some rear shots so he could take a look at it. and he said he could do the AC kit if we wanted. basically he said anything we can get him a picture of he will beable to make it from the pic. and a car to size everything up. the main reason I liked the AC kit was because its a pretty rare kit, and I like how everything flows nicely. but I do like the esquiss one too. The fenders and skirts just seem to flow better and look like the car came that way. Depending on the pricing, I might be interested in an ACS kit. __________________ moku 1996 318ti Cali Top w/ Downing/Atlanta Supercharger 2003 M3 w/ CSL trunk, splitters, & diffuser | | | 11-19-2004, 06:52 AM | #10 | Member Join Date: Jan 2004 Location: WI Posts: 39 | Quote: Originally Posted by moku Although I think the Esquiss widebody kit is nice, I've always felt that the ACS widebody was cleaner. I will probably need atleast 10 people who for sure would want this, inorder for it to be worth making the mold. this will also affect the pricing(more people the better the price) | | | 11-19-2004, 03:48 PM | #11 | Member Join Date: Oct 2003 Location: East Coast Posts: 89 | There is no ACS widebody kit for the compact.
