I see the two installs including John's were done on E36 coupes. John, Mallard, thanks for your feedback thus far. Interesting mod. __________________ 1998 318ti Sport - "Cali" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, Cali top 1998 318ti Sport - "Max" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, S52 1997 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior 1995 318ti Active - "Blanca" Alpineweib III/Schwartz leather interior Other Current Bimmers: 2006 530i / 2000 2.3L Z3 / 1997 1.9L Z3 / 1999 540it 1997 318ti Sport - "Huera" - RIP 1995 318ti Active - RIP 1995 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Sold 1994 325i Sedan - "Jade" - Sold 1991 318ic - "Bert" - Sold 1985 635csi sold 1984 533i "Max" Sold 1984 318i sold BMWCCA #160411 SUPPORT 318ti.org! Aside from the BMW M3 coupe kit, has anyone found another compatible remote popper that will may have possibilities? I'm thinking if a mount can be fashioned to adjust for the required angle required. I am thinking to figure out which vehicles have remote window openers and walk the yard to look for a possible match. Cheers! __________________ 1998 318ti Sport - "Cali" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, Cali top 1998 318ti Sport - "Max" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, S52 1997 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior 1995 318ti Active - "Blanca" Alpineweib III/Schwartz leather interior Other Current Bimmers: 2006 530i / 2000 2.3L Z3 / 1997 1.9L Z3 / 1999 540it 1997 318ti Sport - "Huera" - RIP 1995 318ti Active - RIP 1995 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Sold 1994 325i Sedan - "Jade" - Sold 1991 318ic - "Bert" - Sold 1985 635csi sold 1984 533i "Max" Sold 1984 318i sold BMWCCA #160411 SUPPORT 318ti.org! I have no idea if they have a more or less favorable geometry. | | | 09-10-2014, 02:04 AM | #95 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2010 Location: Severna Park, MD Posts: 126 | I just passed on the parts I picked up to a fellow forum member. I came pretty close to installing them, but the project took a back seat a couple years ago then fell off the map. Hopefully he can finish what I could not. __________________ Friends don't let friends call it "Beamer".
