Default Single wiper

I saw a Mercedes wagon today and it had the single front windshield wiper...and I liked it...I assume the only way to do this is to find a wiper motor that will spin 180* and find a way to make a bracket. I don't wanna do the ghetto ricer thing and just take off my driver's side wiper and adjust my passenger's side one.

EDIT: Although I guess I could just do that and add a longer arm...I would just rather have it lay flat or at least close to stock when not in use.

go junkyard it. find the wiper asembly and arm from a benz, and go from there, honestly, i dont think it looks that good, and it does have a little less visibility as it doesnt hit the full right side, but if you want to, go for it.

if you do i, id grab the wires and plug going to the wiper motor with as much wire as you can on it too, makes alot of stuff easier when your going from 2 different manufacturers

the motors i've seen just keep spinning, you could maybe cut and weld the linkage arms to get the right length for proper amount of sweep

Just use the motor off your rear windshield

That would work if I didn't sell it to roadrash. lol. I found a kit online that does it though.

One Arm Wiper Kit

The only issue with this would be shipping and would it fit. Otherwise it uses the stock mounting and does the full sweep.

I have an E320 sedan. The single wiper sucks.

I may be wrong on this but the only wagon with a single arm is the W210 E-class.
The W211 and new C-class wagons have dual wipers.

Apparently it's a love/hate thing. Personally, I'm not a fan.

i will second that. a buddy of mine has a benz with 1 wiper. its so annoying, and visibility sucks when it rains hard.

wouldn't recommend it.

This was out of curiosity, come summer time I could run around without wipers completely and almost never have to worry about it here. lol

Hmmm this one I wanna see done. I only see this one wiper in buses.

I like the idea of the rear wiper. I think that is possible and way cheaper.

Look up DaRedRkt on bf.c
He has done this kit on his e28 and it looks pretty sick on the old body. iirc, it can be set to 'neutral' in left/right/center position.
Not sure how it would look on a more 'updated' look of an e36. Pchop it?
