It was one of the pace cars for the 2005 Daytona 500! Seriously this car is sooo sick. I've seen it in person and it doesn't get much better than this. Anyways thought you guys might find it interesting. | | | 12-04-2008, 04:48 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Regensburg, Germany Posts: 584 | <quote from eBay auction>Winner Jeff Gordon’s 2005 Daytona 500 Collector's Presentation/Parade Car ( not a pace car ). </quote> Just giving you a hard time! I'm sure it is a blast to drive, especially with that 6 speed! Good luck to him! __________________ Quote: Originally Posted by cooljess76 Turbos are great!...Especially the higher mileage m42's & m44's...A BUDGET setup should be good for atleast 400rwhp...I was running 60psi on stock internals and homemade parts... | | | | 12-04-2008, 04:49 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Austin Posts: 3,059 | It's seems like everyone has a pace car these days. Great looking cars though. I love the new corvettes. __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. But, my experience with auctions is to start them low with a reserve to get people excited. That is the auction mentality - the hope of getting a steal and then getting hooked on the idea of "winning." __________________ ... ʎɐqǝ uo pɹɐoqʎǝʞ ɐ ʎnq ı ǝɯıʇ ʇsɐן ǝɥʇ sı sıɥʇ | | | 12-04-2008, 08:15 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Austin Posts: 3,059 | Quote: Originally Posted by b.u.ti-ful Cool car. I finally stopped being lazy and opened a ebay account for the first time a month ago. __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. It has sat in his garage and hasn't left that spot for like a year. I think he would start it daily, but never put one mile on it. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
