Those are the old motorsport badges (sort of "pre-M").

Best bet is to search ebay.de for them. (You will need to translate your search terms to German however) Or, if you find a part number, try to order them from your local dealer. Just be sue the number is 'good' because Euro parts are non-returnable (ask me how I know this...).

BMW Motorsport emblem

These appear flat, so I assume that they just adhere in the location of your existing emblems. However, these are 70mm emblems and I believe most BMW hood and trunk roundels are 82.5mm.

I don't think these were ever used to replace the hood and trunk roundel.

I remember seeing them on the sides of batmobiles' c-pillars, and that emblem is smaller than the roundel.

Maybe mill the stock emblem (with the insert in place) and pop these in the recelss... Maybe not on second thought.

looks cool but you're right jim, oem hood/trunk roundels are 82.5mm and the biggest ebay motorsports are 70mm

That's not a genuine BMW piece, someone from bf.c printed and cut vinyl and put in on a normal badge.
These have been used on the 3.0 CSL and were a steering wheel badge for the M1, but were never 'officially' released, as far as I know.

J/K, brother- I don't think you even have my number anyway and besides, I, unfortunately, spend most of the weekend in the hospital. (better now- got out last night).

Sorry bro and decided at the last minute to go with the Baur, glad you are better brother and hope all is well.

No E36s at the show, it was E30s and earlier models.

And you are right, I don't have your number. Send me a PM with it and I will send you my number as well!
