Default A quickie 328Ti redo project

Wuddup guys,

I have a car show coming up so i figure i re-do the awhole car again.

1. Re-paint the whole car the same color. I know the paint job looks "ok" already but if some of you read my last project i painted my car in a home garage with a garage door open. But this time I have a paint booth so the quailty and look of the car should be better.

2. I order some new rims last week and should be in soon. I got some 18's deep dish stragger. Going with 8.5 in the front with 225/40/18 tires. 9.5 in the rears with 255/35/18.

3. I've decided to go with a painted black roof!

4. M3 mirrors on order

The plan is to finish by mid May.

Before

After
coming soon.........

Day 1

Day 2
Not much done today. Just sanded down the hood and roof. Cut one of the rear fender. That was a pain in the butt but it be worth it in the end. Just have to get a roller and flare the fenders out. Took my spoiler off and I think i will mold the wing onto my car.

Just weld to triangle pieces onto the hood along with the nose panel.

Yeap, I decided to stick with the classic look so these are the rims I'm getting:

Only thing I'm disappoited in these rims is it doesn't have rivets.... The ones I saw that had everything i wanted was like $400-$500 a rim. That's to much.

Phamster, I read your whole swap thread and I am totally inspired to do one myself. Whatever you do to your car I am sure it will look awesome. Hats off to you my brother!

These are nice with a clean look. Rivets are only nice if they are true 2 or 3 piece wheels. I imagine at that price they were? Very nice Ti
