New valve cove gasket, also made the discovery that 318s came with a special tool for pulling spark plug boots, this is the third M44 I've replaced the VCG on and none of the others had the tool.

Fixed the right window, it had fallen out of the tracks again. It's still not perfectly smooth though, but at least it's not stuck down anymore. Might need a new regulator eventually.
Got some help with fixing it from my awesome landlord (who has experience from his VW windows lol), and I of course need to thank wolferj too for teaching me a while back how to do all this to begin with

Ok billy here lol
Soldered up a set of taillights which turned out cool, and for $150 I got a set of E46 seats from a 99 328 that I'm putting I'm my 92. My seats are manual and these are power. There are two large gauge wires in the mess of wires coming from the seat harness, brown is ground and orange is power! That powers everything I need to mess with, seat switch is on the seat so just need to run a power and ground to both sides and I'll be good. Will be like me, no memory.

Thanks. But it's still missing a 318ti.org sticker on the window, wondering if I can still put it on since I just did the tint.

Yeah I'm missing one as well but you should have no issue with that, tint is on the inside sticker is on the outside.

Cool wasn't sure if it stuck on the inside or the outside.

Took Roddy on a little road trip to meet another member (Hey Strawman!), see his swap in progress, and pick up some extra parts from him.

Really nice to get out and let Roddy "stretch his legs" driving down Hwy 101. Going to take Roddy up to Thunderhill Raceway this weekend so it felt really good to strap in and go for a spin to make sure everything feels solid...

picked up another one at a car auction today, figured I'd check in here to let everyone know don't know too many details on it yet since I still have to bring it home, but I know it's a '96 with 144k, active package with a cloth interior, the paint's rough but the body's mostly straight without much rust, comes with nearly new Hakkapeliitta tires

the bad things about it, the inspection sticker expired '06 so it's obviously been sitting for a while, has a coolant leak, no radio, water's been leaking from somewhere on the passenger side so there's mold all over the passenger a-pillar and headliner and it's definitely going to need a battery. and it's an automatic

I lost the auction to a scrap dealer who was planning on crushing it but luckily she was willing to sell it to me for 100 over what she paid, so I got it for $400 now I have a ti for summer, a ti for the track, and a ti for winter

Congrats Brendan! $400 is a steal! I'm sure you'll have all the bugs sorted out in no time.

I pulled out the wiring harness from my 1997 M3 Auto, everything is nice and labeled, no cuts.

Now to start to repin it and make it for a 1995 Stick, but keeping the wiring in for the Auto.
