Soon I will be upgrading to 325/328 vented front brakes. I'm curious what a good manufacturer of pads and rotors for this upgrade is? Also where is a good place to purchase them? __________________ 97 Boston Green 318ti Active | | | 04-20-2008, 08:01 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | There are many good pads out there. For rotors I've been sticking to BMW OE. You can't go wrong with Brembo. I'd stay away from some of the eBay deals. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 04-21-2008, 01:53 AM | #3 | Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Montreal Posts: 32 | Zimmerman is quality too. Pads depends on what you do with the car. OEM Jurid are great. | | | 04-21-2008, 01:56 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Minneapolis Posts: 1,587 | PelicanParts.com, AutohausAZ.com or TischerBMW.net are my three favorites. I'd stick with all OEM stuff for a street car. ATE, Balo, Jurid, Textar, just to name a few. | | | 04-21-2008, 02:43 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Florida Posts: 2,525 | I have to say that I like the centric rotors over brembo rotors.. If nothing else, because of price.. No bad experiences with either. | | | 04-21-2008, 02:49 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | I think Brembo is planing on making pads if they arnt already out, if your not going to do OEM that seems like a good option. I also hear that people love their Green Stuff pads but Ive never had any experience with them. __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 04-29-2008, 01:26 AM | #7 | Member Join Date: Feb 2008 Location: Massachusetts Posts: 45 | Personally, I use ATE nonvented slotted rotors with Gran Sport performance street brake pads. I love the setup. I got my parts from TireRack. | | | 05-01-2008, 09:18 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: The Netherlands Posts: 188 | I am using Jurid rotors and pads I love them! | | | 05-01-2008, 09:40 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Land of the Vikings Posts: 2,700 | ebc green stuff zimmermann discs __________________ Vin Number decode and Retrofit Pdfs Available Free !
