AKG makes a rear subframe bushing that raises the subframe by 12mm it is supposed to correct the camber "the proper way". e30tech and revlimited are good sources of info for the rear of our cars.

Wher can I buy them bushings at and I need the Ireland camber kit installed too. I want to have pos camber when I ride high height and normal to mabey slighty neg camber when I'm riding real low . The front I'm gonna have to build my own camber plate all the way to the outer corner for the front camber . Has anyone have any ideas ?

I wonder with those offset bushings what is done with the diff, if it raises the subframe, it will raise the diff in the front and not in the rear mount (remedied with some cutting probably) , and then there is the driveshaft alignment issues that would result from that...

With your extreme setup, I would just cut the mounts and move them-basically re-engineer the arms and subframe to work in that huge range.

E30 guys just get longer bolts and space the diff down 12mm with washers. The bushings are supposed to be great for super low cars.

akg motorsport has the bushings and weld in kit.

I made my own parts and bought 5 series eccentric bolts. Works great.

That's pretty slick dave, did you use a Bridgeport to make the brackets?

For those without mad machining skills, the guy who runs E30tech.com sells the brackets by themselves for $42 or $80 depending on how many adjustments you want (camber/toe) and then just buy those 5 series bolts.

It really isn't possible with the stock locations. What you need to do it cut the mounts off and set it up to work with the amount of travel you are planning. I don't think it will be easy since the arms are designed to work in a small arc, and to change camber in that arc. So, you are fighting a lot of german engineering.

Bimmerworld Camber Plates
Fits entirely within the stock reinforcements, and is adjustable through a range of 0.5 to -2.6, and can be reversed for zero camber like the stock 96-99 M3. No bearings, and is rebuildable unlike the stock parts.

so like the akg bushings how can i use washers to space my subframe higher?

is there a exact height i can use? if i can get away with washers instead of $100 bushings then that would help alot .

The bushings are made differently to allow for the use of the spacer.

They are thinner on the top to move the subframe higher up, and the spacer/washer goes on the bottom to compensate for the upward move. I guess in theory you could cut the center of the factory bushings shorter to pull the frame up higher. I'd just buy the bushings. Thye aren't much more than a regular set of poly's.
