Used a BFH and dowel to "message" sheet metal out of the way. Coated screw, and stuck tape to possible contact area. I strongly suggest you do the same as post above and insulate the screw head. Otherwise risk blowing the brake fuse and not even knowing it while you drive. Not so good. | | | I just soldered the wires in place, didnt fancy drilling bits on my new car! I have come to realise though that putting the rear fog light on blows the fuse (#22) which is for both fogs. | that's probably because this mod uses the rear fog lights, they aren't used on US-spec cars so you've just wired a second input to the rear fog, which is what's making your fuse blow | | | The brake fuse is sized for 2 lights, I just went up a couple amps and its been fine on my car.... This week I replaced the "fog" bulbs with LED so they should pull way less power...
