Default Newbie saying hello!

Hi guys from sunny Queensland.

I came on this site earlier today to investigate a starting problem with my 318ti Sport and I thought I might as well register as it seems a wealth of info from like minded people.

I'm originally from Wales where I have prepared and rallied BMW's for 10 years. Now I live on the Gold Coast and I have started to get my BMW collection together again. I have as mentioned above a e36 compact and I also have a E30 318is so you could say I'm four pot bias. But I have also run M20 325i's, M52 328is's and a 1970 BMW 2002 Alpina.

I still can't decide what car to keep standard and which to modify as I like them both but after over 200bhp in all my others they are a bit slow. I would like a four pot screamer eventually but you can't deny the bang for buck of a six pot conversion.

Anyway G'day guys!!

Mark
