Haha, didn't you just make a thread about what a Big POS this shifter was? And how tough it was to shift gears?
I'm not trying to sh*t on your sale but I just want everyone to know that it has not been perfect.

Well I don't know if I called it a POS...I just said it was stiff and it seems alot of people don't mind the extra effort that comes with a short shifter. For me it was too much but my mechanic buddy loved it. Said it was killer. Lots of beemer owners around the forums have this particular shifter and really like it. I'm sure you know all this from your own vast experiences with short shifters...

It shifts fine. In fact 2nd to 3rd, 3rd to 4th, 4th to 5th shifts are pretty damn quick and snickety.

I just installed a new Z3 shifter and it's perfect for ME. Still more effort than stock but not enough to piss me off
