Default Indianapolis area Airbag tool?

My airbag light has been on for the better part of a year and I'm getting tired of looking at it. Would anyone in the area happen to have an air bag reset tool I could bum a use off of? I'll supply a 6-pack for your troubles (if you like beer).

I have a '98

mine has been on for about 3 years now... caused by the airbag sensor in the passanger seat cushin (which is a PITA to fix).

I guess long story short, you may wanna see why its on... since it may just come right back up after you reset it.

Thanks for the tip...will that SRS tool tell me the cause? Or must I take it to a dealer?

not sure.. my mechanic pluged in his own (most likely not what dealer has) tool & it pointed the source.

from what I hear, this very sensor causes 90% of all airbag lights...

let us know how it works out.

My airbag light came on because the seat belt buckles were bad. This is a common problem too.

everytime i had the airbag light on any of my tis, and i had a few it was always the passanger side seat belt buckle sensor, the whole buckle has to be replaced, and to do so the seat has to be removed.

I've got an airbag reset tool. I'm happy to look at anyone's airbag system nearby me (Central NJ) if you don't mind meeting me close to where I am at the time. I might be driving down to NC next week near Ft. Bragg if anyone along the way needs a check out of it. Will take free food! Though no meat as I gave it up for lent.

Can you reset SRS with CAN OBD II Code Reader Auto Scanner?
