The stock radio in my '96 ti quit working about a week ago. The head unit comes on but all I get from the speakers is a really bad crackle from the left rear speaker. I have the 10 speaker system with the stock tape deck head unit. The previous owner had an aftermarket head unit in the car. Any idea what could be wrong?

im not sure, what that could be, is the adapter still on the car or is the adapter the original oem?
