e46 4 pots into e36

is there any of the e46 4 pot motors any fgood? I have heard bad things, but im looking for 150 bhp from my car and loads of torque...

I cant go 6 pot or turbo etc.

I might be wrong, but I don't think that four cylinder engines came in any E-46's. John

Not in the US - but pretty much everywhere else in world they had 4
cylinder E46s. The OP is in the UK.

yes we got 4 pot e46;s, 8v 1900 mainly really but in the ti i thought there was a little 4 pot that did 150 bhp is it the n42? I hear good and real bad about it. but i guess its wrong then to ask here !!!!

Not wrong to ask here, but since a large number of us here are in the States, we wouldn't know about the e46 4 pots. Hopefully some of our other members abroad will be able to comment!
