Default Cali Roof Not Closing

Today my roof started acting up. It would close just fine until it got to the last 1/4" or so, then it would just stop and not go any further. I opened it and tried closing it several times. Everytime it would get to that point and just quit. I just left it opened and drove around today like that since it was a nice day anyways. This evening I finally got it to close, so I just unplugged the switch and left it so I or someone else doesn't open it and then it get stuck again.

Anyways, I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem or has any clue what might be going on. I checked the track and nothing is jamming it up. It runs smoothly until it gets to that point, then it has trouble. TIA.

Mine does that to, I bought some grease and I plan on using a brush and some solvent and cleaning it real good in the track then regreasing it. I just haven't got to it yet.

Did you look at this?

Sounds like it may be a gear problem.
